Founder

Matt, the founder of Beeson & Associates, Inc., brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of both the commodities markets and the risk management process. His experience and skill set enable Matt to help navigate the challenges of establishing risk tolerance, policy development, market research, reporting, personnel training, and more. Prior to founding the company in 1995, Matt began his career in 1981 at Pillsbury, and has mastered commodity analysis and purchasing management at some of the industry’s finest companies. He is a former senior manager with PepsiCo’s KFC Division and was Vice President of Purchasing and In-Bound Logistics for Jacobs Suchard (Brach Candies). He holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, and an M.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois. Matt’s leadership over the last two-plus decades have helped Beeson & Associates, Inc. grow into a thriving consultancy through top-notch service for our clients.
